1. This Course given by the Franklin Family Wellness Institute, LLC has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness and is intended for informational purposes only.
2. The information given within this course is to help attendees better understand the systems of the body including, but not limited to, Brain Health, Digestive Health, and Immune function and their roles in optimal brain health.
3. Individuals should consult with a licensed health care provider before starting any dietary program or dietary supplement.
4. During Webinars, Dwight Franklin, MSOM, AP will answer as many questions as time permits that have been submitted at least a day prior to the online webinar event. You can submit questions to dfranklin@myffwi.com. There will be no questions answered related to specific medical cases. Examples of an inappropriate question and appropriate question are below:
Inappropriate Question: My son has ________________ disorder, What supplement should I give to help them? (If I answered this question it would be considered medical advice which is not the intention of this course. No questions such as this will be answered.)
Inappropriate Question: How do you cure ADHD? (ADHD is a medical diagnosis. We are not here to diagnose, cure, treat or prevent or prevent any illness, disease, or disorder. We can however talk about creating optimal brain health and optimal focus.)
Appropriate Question: What dietary supplement ingredients have been shown to improve focus?
Appropriate Question: Do you have any tricks to get kids to try new foods?
Appropriate Question: What dietary supplement ingredients have been shown to create healthy inflammation levels in the body?
Appropriate Question: What types of foods or supplements have been shown to possibly decrease hyperactivity and impulsivity?
5. Within the course forum, no language using medical diagnoses may be used. I know this will take some getting used to for most members. Its ok, we understand. We just want to ensure that this course stays available to all the parents who benefit greatly from it by not crossing the line into "treating" medical diagnoses. This is why we want everyone to do their best in using the appropriate language. Down below are some examples. We appreciate everyone's help on this matter.
Inappropriate: ADHD, Autism, Depression
Appropriate: Poor Focus, Hyperactive, Impulsive, Low mood, Anxiousness
